Provincial Disaster Management Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an alert about rains and thunderstorms in different parts of the province from Friday till Monday. According to PDMA, all relevant departments have been advised to stay alert for restoring links road for traffic. Punjab Assembly has approved the provincial budget for the next fiscal year 2024-25, by passing the Finance Bill worth 5446 billion rupees. On the approval of the Finance Bill, the members of the Assembly welcomed the approval of the budget for the new financial year by thumping their desks in the House. After that, the Finance Minister presented the approved expenditure statement for the financial year in the House. Later, the Speaker adjourned the session until 2 pm tomorrow. A delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry led by President Atif Ikram Sheikh called on Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in Islamabad today. On this occasion, the delegation presented several proposals aimed at enhancing filer registrations, including the introduction of a simplified form to enhance the registration.
