Pakistan to achieve clean energy transition for future generations: Musadik

Minister of State for Petroleum Division Dr Musadik Malik says Pakistan is determined to achieve a just and clean energy transition for its future generations.
He was speaking at parliamentary consultation titled “ Towards a Sustainable Future: Inclusion of Just Energy Transition and Climate Action in Election Manifestos 2023”, in Islamabad.
The State Minister said Russia-Ukraine crisis caused un-proportional energy inflation for developing countries, thwarting the clean energy transition and access.
He said therefore, it is imperative that just and clean energy transition be supported with finance mobilization for developing countries to enable technology transfer and indigenous development.
