Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm support for the Right to Self-determination of the people of Palestine.
Speaking in the Senate on Tuesday, he said Pakistan has always raised its voice for the Palestinian cause.
The Information Minister said Pakistan has a principled position on Palestine issue and there is no change in it. He said Israeli state cannot survive, if the Palestinians are deprived of the two-state solution. He emphasized that there will be no peace without justice.
Murtaza Solangi said the entire nation is united on the Palestinian issue, and the members of the Upper House raised voice in favor of Palestinian people with unison. He asserted that it is the unwavering belief of the Pakistani nation that the voice of the Palestinian people cannot be silenced.
Others who spoke on the occasion and expressed serious concerns over the situation in Palestine included Khalida Ateeb, Mehr Taj Roghani, Humayun Mohmand, Nuzhat Sadiq, Danesh Kumar, Sajid Mir, Seemee Ezdi, Molvi Faiz Muhammad, Jam Mahtab Hussain Dahar, Shahadat Awan, Syed Waqar Mehdi and Falak Naz, Afnan Ullah Khan, Gurdeep Singh, Palwasha Mohammad Zai Khan, Fida Muhammad, Muhammad Akram.
