Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the country’s positive economic indicators reflect the conducive environment for business created by recent economic policies. Talking to a delegation of Menzies Aviation led by Chief Executive Officer Philip Joeinig in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the government is fully committed to driving national development after achieving economic stability.
According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif noted the development of the national economy is closely linked to the progress of the IT sector. He said that the country’s IT exports have been continuously increasing due to investor-friendly policies. The Prime Minister welcomed Menzies Aviation’s establishment of an IT infrastructure and service desk in Pakistan, describing it as a significant milestone for the national economy, especially the IT sector.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence that the recent economic growth and Menzies Aviation’s arrival in Pakistan will help attract other international companies to invest in the country. He noted that foreign investment will create more job opportunities for the youth.
