Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked the US government for announcing an additional thirty million dollars in humanitarian assistance for flood victims.

In a tweet on Friday, he said the challenges of food, health and shelter still persist in the flood affected areas with the start of winter. He said the world should promptly contribute to UN aid appeal to mitigate the impact of tragedy.
