Quetta: A meeting of the Balochistan cabinet was held in Quetta today with Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in the chair. The cabinet strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks on the Jaffar Express and the FC convoy in District Noshki, asserting that the people of Balochistan stand with the security forces in the war against terrorism. It also paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the cabinet approved the Balochistan Women Economic Empowerment Endowment Fund Utilisation policy for 2024. It also decided to provide interest-free loans to women to improve their living standards.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister stated that the people of Balochistan rejected terrorism in all its forms. He emphasized that the problems being faced by the people would be addressed through good governance.
