Lahore: The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy is set to be launched in an exclusive ceremony at the historic 16th-century Shahi Qilla in Lahore.
According to Radio Pakistan, the event will be attended by key figures from the International Cricket Council and the Pakistan Cricket Board, along with foreign envoys, former cricketers, and some captains of the participating teams. This gathering underscores the significance of the tournament and its launch at such a culturally important venue.
The Champions Trophy will commence with its first match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. The match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, starting at two in the afternoon.
