Lahore: A change of guard ceremony was held at the mausoleum of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal in Lahore on Sunday. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force took over guard duties from the Satluj Rangers.

According to Radio Pakistan, the chief guest, Air Vice Marshal Akhtar Imran Sadozai, Officer Commanding PAF, laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha at the grave of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff, Airmen, and Civilians.

He also recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book, marking the solemn occasion with a personal note.
