LAHORE: COMSTECH and the University of Lahore have launched a new fellowship program aimed at providing Bangladeshi scholars and students with opportunities for advanced study and research in various academic fields. This initiative is designed to enhance academic collaboration and innovation among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
According to Radio Pakistan, the fellowship program emphasizes a commitment to nurturing talent and promoting academic exchange. It offers Bangladeshi students and researchers the chance to engage in higher education and groundbreaking research across disciplines such as allied health sciences, engineering and technology, pharmacy, management sciences, social sciences, and the humanities. Additionally, the program includes training opportunities for technical personnel involved in science, technology, and engineering laboratories.
The fellowship is available to Bangladeshi nationals aged between 22 and 45, regardless of their country of residence. Eligible candidates must have notable academic achievements and demonstrate a commitment to contributing to their communities. The program provides a comprehensive package that includes tuition fee waivers, round-trip airfare, an honorarium, and free accommodation.
