Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says Pakistan is passing through a difficult time and it is imperative to stay united.

Addressing a news conference in Sialkot on Monday, he said millions of people are awaiting help after the destruction caused by flood.

He urged all political parties to avoid pursuing the interests which are against the state.

The Defense Minister said that the current situation demands that we must think in the motherland.
