Finance Minister and Japanese Envoy Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties.


Islamabad: Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb has expressed the government’s commitment to advancing its reforms agenda to maintain the macro-economic stability achieved over the past fourteen months. He made these remarks during a meeting with the outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan, Mitsuhira Wada, in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting involved discussions on mutual interests, with a focus on longstanding bilateral cooperation and shared perspectives on both regional and global matters. The Finance Minister emphasized the importance of Japan’s developmental and economic assistance, highlighting its crucial role in helping Pakistan address economic challenges and bolster its economy.

Aurangzeb further noted the potential for both nations to enhance their ties through increased exchanges in trade, culture, education, and people-to-people interaction. The discussions underscored the commitment of both countries to foster stronger bilateral relations in various sectors,
aiming for mutual growth and understanding.
