Finance Minister Aurangzeb Reaffirms Commitment to Foreign Investment Facilitation


Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating foreign investors and ensuring a business-friendly environment. He was speaking with a delegation from Asyad Group and Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation included CEO of Asyad Holdings KSA, Ghassan Al Amoudi, and Chairman of Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, Zubair Shaikh. The Finance Minister welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the contributions of Asyad Holdings and Wafi Energy Pakistan to the country’s energy and investment sectors.



The delegation informed the Minister of their plans to expand their investments in Pakistan, highlighting that the country already hosts their largest investments. They expressed confidence in Pakistan’s economic potential and discussed their vision for further collaboration in the downstream petroleum sector and energy infrastructure.



Additionally, the delegation commended the government’s ongoing reforms and its commitment to establishing a stable economic environment, which they believe will further enhance their investment opportunities in Pakistan.
