Freelancing Hub Launched at Government School in Gilgit-Baltistan


TAUS: A new freelancing hub has been inaugurated at the Government Boys High School in Taus, Gilgit-Baltistan, through a joint initiative by the Pakistan Army and the Special Communications Organization. The project aims to provide opportunities for students and community members to develop skills in online business, freelancing, and digital marketing.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Principal of the School described the initiative as a significant opportunity for both students and the local community. The freelancing hub is expected to serve as a resource for individuals seeking to gain knowledge and skills that are increasingly in demand in the global digital economy.

The initiative is seen as a step forward in promoting digital literacy and entrepreneurship in the region. By equipping students and locals with skills in freelancing and digital marketing, the hub aims to open new avenues for economic development and employment in Gilgit-Baltistan.
