Gilgit -Baltistan Apex Committee meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan.

The Committee reviewed the existing security environment of the region and resolve to ensure peace and stability in the region.

The security of Chinese officials and personnel working in Gilgit Baltistan was also reviewed and it was unanimously agreed that constant vigilance will be kept to ensure the security of Chinese citizens in GB.

The Committee also decided to reactivate the National Action Plan and ensure its enforcement in true letter & spirit.

It was also appreciated by the Committee that the Government has taken up the initiative to build consensus among all stakeholders on wheat subsidy, land reforms and revenue authority.
