Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam has highlighted the government’s recent strategic measures aimed at steering the country away from an economic default and securing financial stability. He made these remarks during the oath-taking ceremony of the All Pakistan Government Employees Confederation held in Islamabad on Saturday.
According to Radio Pakistan, Muqam emphasized the importance of the government’s decisions, noting their impact on reducing inflation and the policy rate, as well as boosting remittances. These moves are part of a broader effort to stabilize the national economy and ensure continued growth.
The Minister also acknowledged the challenges faced by government employees, affirming the Prime Minister’s commitment to alleviating their difficulties. A committee formed by the Prime Minister has engaged in constructive discussions with representatives of protesting employees, reflecting the government’s dedication to their welfare. Minister Muqam assured that efforts to enhance the well-being of employees will persist as a priority for the administration.
