Green Climate Fund Being Established to Tackle Climate Change: Musadik


Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change Musadik Masood Malik has announced the establishment of a Green Climate Fund, directed by the Prime Minister, to advance initiatives aimed at tackling the pressing challenge of climate change.



According to Radio Pakistan, Musadik Masood Malik, during a news conference held in Islamabad, revealed that the main features of this fund are currently under development. He emphasized the resilience with which the Pakistani nation has historically faced natural disasters and highlighted the government’s commitment to securing a sustainable future for upcoming generations.



The Minister expressed gratitude for the support from other countries and organizations in addressing climate change challenges. He also called upon European nations to contribute financially to the transition towards green technology, underscoring international cooperation in these efforts.
