Islamabad made zero waste

On the special instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Clean Islamabad Mission was successfully completed on the second day of Eid-ul-Adha.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa has informed that so far 2507 tons of animal waste has been destroyed in the operation. He said on the second day of Eid, 45 complaints related to cleanliness were received, which were resolved promptly. Sanitation teams patrolled across the city including green belts, open spaces, drains and forest areas to ensure cleanliness.
