Peshawar: A meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet took place today in Peshawar to review ongoing efforts aimed at establishing peace in Kurram district. The cabinet approved the recruitment of 407 security personnel to form a special security force dedicated to maintaining peace in the region.
According to Radio Pakistan, the cabinet has decided to establish 120 security posts along the main highway in Kurram district, equipped with necessary resources. The meeting was informed that, to date, 19 tons of medicines have been delivered to the area. Additionally, 718 vehicles carrying daily commodities have been dispatched via nine convoys.
