KP Government Asserts Firm Stance Against Terrorism and Supporters


Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a stringent approach towards terrorists and their supporters, vowing to show no mercy in dealing with such elements. This decisive stance was articulated following an emergency meeting led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, which addressed recent incidents affecting the province’s security landscape.



According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting convened top officials of the provincial government to assess the situation in the aftermath of the Bagan incident, which has heightened security concerns. Officials expressed grave concern over the firing incidents targeting Deputy Commissioner Kurram and security personnel, viewing these acts as severe breaches of peace.



The assembly emphasized that the local populace holds responsibility for maintaining peace following a recent agreement aimed at stabilizing the region. The government underscored its commitment to enforce the terms of the peace agreement rigorously and hold violators accountable, signaling a robust initiative to deter future acts of violence and uphold regional security.
