Jeddah: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf held a meeting with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah in Jeddah on Wednesday. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding facilities for Hajj pilgrims and Umrah visitors, as well as extending the “Road to Makkah” project to other cities in Pakistan. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf also discussed issues related to the registration of Hajj pilgrims with the Saudi Minister.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Saudi Minister assured that the issues faced by Pakistani pilgrims would be resolved on a priority basis. He noted that providing facilities to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims is among the top priorities of the Saudi government, and emphasized that the Saudi Government will offer even greater cooperation to Pakistani pilgrims. He mentioned that several new measures have been taken to ensure the best facilities for pilgrims.
Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah stated that every year, a large number of pilgrims from Pakistan travel to Saudi Arabia, and serving them is an honor. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf paid tribute to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for providing excellent facilities to Hajj pilgrims. He also expressed his gratitude for the special attention given by the Saudi Minister of Hajj to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims.
