Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of former Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Philadelphia Dr. Inayat Hussain Kathio.

He died at the age of 69 due to cardiac issues.

In his tweet, the Ambassador said that we mourn the passing away of a great community leader – Dr Inayat Kathio. He said that the former Honorary Consul was a mentor to hundreds, champion of Pakistani American causes, a devoted family man.

He was appointed as Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Philadelphia in recognition of his countless services for Pak-American community.
