Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi has offered Korea to utilize ports of Karachi and Gwadar to access Central Asian countries.
He was talking to Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo who called on him in Islamabad on Friday.
The Minister sought Korean investment into Special Economic Zones of Pakistan, saying Pakistan needs transfer of technology.
He praised the standard of Korean products, especially solar panels, and emphasized to increase cooperation in the energy sector between the two countries.
Murtaza Javed Abbasi and the Korean ambassador also discussed the ongoing projects of Korean companies in Pakistan and agreed to further expand and encourage these.
During the meeting, they emphasized the need to further promote cooperation between the two countries at the level of parliamentary and governmental levels.
Highlighting the great potential of tourism in Pakistan, the Minister said this sector would be further developed. They also discussed to increase Pak, Korea cooperation in the field of health.
