A total of 15,390 tons of humanitarian and relief consignments have been so far dispatched to Afghanistan under the Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum’s arrangements.
According to a press release issued in Islamabad on Saturday, the humanitarian assistance was sent via 83 convoys, including 743 trucks and four C-130 flights.
The latest truckload carrying 17 tons of food items for the flood-affected Afghan people of Kandahar was handed over to Afghan authorities at Chaman border crossing yesterday.
The relief assistance was donated by Al-Khidmat Foundation.
