Australia-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group has been established at Parliament of Australia.

The Group with 38 members, is chaired by a ruling Party’s parliamentarian Maria Vamvakinou.

In a statement, High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said the establishment of Pakistan-Australia Parliamentary Friendship Group highlights the significance of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

He hoped the group will help strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in multiple areas.
