Pakistan Advocates for Libyan-Led Peace Process as Key to Stability


New York: Pakistan has emphasized that a Libyan-led and Libyan-owned process is the sole path to achieving sustainable peace and stability in Libya. This stance was articulated by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Munir Akram, during his national statement at the Security Council briefing concerning the UN Support Mission in Libya.



According to Radio Pakistan, Munir Akram urged all Libyan stakeholders to preserve the progress made thus far and engage in constructive dialogue to resolve any outstanding issues. He highlighted the importance of a political reconciliation process that benefits all citizens and ensures a fair distribution of national resources.



The Ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to being a consistent ally in supporting Libya’s journey towards peace, stability, and prosperity.
