Islamabad: Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has emphasized that Pakistan places significant importance on its relationship with Japan. Addressing a function in Islamabad, he highlighted the robust bilateral trade volume, which currently stands at $1.27 billion.
According to Radio Pakistan, the minister reiterated the government’s dedication to creating new business opportunities and enhancing people-to-people connections between the two nations. He expressed appreciation for the Japanese government and companies for their sustained investment in Pakistan. The presence of over eighty Japanese firms in crucial sectors of the Pakistani market was acknowledged as a testament to the strong ties between the two countries.
