Pakistan, Oman Agree to Develop Joint Agricultural Projects


Muscat: Pakistan and Oman have agreed to develop joint working projects in agriculture. The consensus was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, and Oman’s Minister for Agriculture, Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Habsi in Muscat.



According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal Khan emphasized Pakistan’s significant agricultural potential as a means to address the evolving food security challenges. The discussions focused on how Pakistan’s agricultural expertise could be harnessed to benefit both nations.



During the meeting, Oman’s Minister for Agriculture highlighted the importance of leveraging Pakistan’s agricultural strengths to bolster Oman’s food supply and ensure long-term sustainability. The collaboration aims to address mutual food security concerns and enhance agricultural productivity through shared resources and expertise.
