New York: Pakistan has declared that any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians or annex their land must be unequivocally rejected and effectively prevented.
According to Radio Pakistan, during informal consultations held in New York regarding the upcoming high-level international conference for the peaceful settlement of the Question of Palestine and the implementation of the two-state solution, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar, emphasized the need to address the ongoing human suffering in Gaza and the West Bank. Ambassador Iftikhar stressed that the international community cannot allow the unprecedented human tragedy and suffering in these regions to continue.
Ambassador Iftikhar also called upon the international community to extend their support to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab Group in operationalizing the Gaza Reconstruction Plan. This appeal is part of a broader effort to seek a peaceful resolution to the longstanding conflict and to ensure the well-being and rights of the Palestinian people.
