Islamabad: Advisor to Finance Minister on Economic Reforms Khurram Schehzad has outlined Pakistan’s key priorities for the World Economic Forum 2025 (WEF), focusing on securing strategic partnerships and promoting sustainable investments.
According to Radio Pakistan, Schehzad emphasized in a social media post that the World Economic Forum offers Pakistan a unique platform to engage with global leaders, organizations, and the private sector. He highlighted that the country’s strategy at this significant gathering would involve strengthening collaborations and securing both bilateral and multilateral agreements in areas such as sustainable investment, climate resilience, infrastructure, technology, and renewable energy.
To attract international investors and policymakers, Schehzad stated that Pakistan’s finance and economic team will emphasize that the nation is open for business. The team aims to showcase Pakistan’s resilience, innovation, stability, and reforms that foster a competitive, investor-friendly environment.
