PESHAWAR: A private pharmaceutical firm has donated 5,000 insulin vials to the Health Department, aiming to support diabetic patients in the Kurram region. This contribution is valued at 4.2 million rupees and is expected to significantly aid individuals reliant on insulin for managing their condition.
According to Radio Pakistan, Secretary Health Adeel Shah announced that the insulin vials were officially handed over to the Health Department in Peshawar. Shah confirmed that the distribution plan involves delivering the medicines to Kurram by helicopter, ensuring they reach the intended recipients promptly. This logistical effort underscores the importance of timely medical support in the region.
