Rawalpindi: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has stressed the need to discourage tendencies of hate and prejudice to foster a healthy society. Addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi, he highlighted that hate and prejudice are undermining the social fabric.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that all minorities, including the Christian community, have played a commendable role with full religious liberty in Pakistan’s development and prosperity. He assured that minorities are enjoying their constitutional rights and are contributing to the defense of the nation.
Ahsan Iqbal also mentioned the government’s initiatives to empower youth, focusing on making them skillful and self-reliant. He outlined various steps being taken to equip the country’s youth with necessary skills for personal and professional growth.
