Islamabad: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, held a meeting with the Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Gulbar Khan, in Islamabad to discuss issues of shared concern. The dialogue focused on enhancing collaboration between the two regions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the AJK Prime Minister assured the Chief Minister of providing all possible assistance to the Gilgit Baltistan government, particularly in the areas of development and connectivity. The meeting highlighted the mutual interest in fostering stronger ties and cooperation for the betterment of both regions.
Chief Minister Gulbar Khan emphasized the need to increase the number of seats available for students from Gilgit-Baltistan in the medical colleges and engineering universities of Azad Kashmir. In response to this request, the AJK Prime Minister agreed to raise the number of reserved seats for GB students, aiming to improve educational opportunities and access for them.
