Jeddah: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Jeddah on a four-day visit to Saudi Arabia. Upon his arrival at the airport, the Deputy Governor of Makkah, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, welcomed the Prime Minister.
According to Radio Pakistan, the high-level delegation accompanying him includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, federal ministers, and senior officials. During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. Discussions will focus on boosting trade, enhancing partnerships in key sectors, and facilitating greater economic collaboration.
The visit underscores the deep-rooted historical relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. It aims to pave the way for increased mutual understanding, enhanced cooperation in trade and investment, and greater diplomatic coordination on bilateral, regional, and global matters.
