PM to Announce Electricity Relief Package Soon: Pervaiz Malik


Lahore: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has announced that the government is dedicated to providing all possible relief to the citizens. He emphasized the government’s commitment while addressing the media in Lahore, highlighting the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif towards the development and prosperity of the nation.



According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Malik revealed that the Prime Minister is on the verge of introducing a comprehensive relief package aimed at reducing electricity prices for power consumers. This move is part of the government’s broader strategy to alleviate economic pressures on the public. Malik affirmed that Prime Minister Sharif’s effective leadership has been pivotal in steering the country away from the brink of default.



During the interaction, Malik also addressed questions related to Pakistan’s economic policies, noting that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has shown confidence in the country’s economic direction. This endorsement from the IMF is seen as a significant boost for Pakistan’s financial stability and international credibility.



Further, Malik lauded the sacrifices made by security forces personnel in safeguarding the nation. He urged collective efforts as essential for the country’s ongoing development and future growth, underscoring the unity needed to achieve national objectives.
