Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says the government is establishing new economic zones besides operationalizing sick industries to economically stabilize the province.
In a statement in Peshawar today (Monday), he said the incumbent government has taken pragmatic steps to boost industrialization.
Mahmood Khan said seventy-one projects are included in the current budget which include forty-six ongoing and twenty-five new projects.
The Chief Minister said one hundred and seventy-six sick industrial units have been operationalized which create twenty-four thousand employment opportunities in the province.
About Dubai Expo, he said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government signed forty-four MoUs amounting to eight billion dollars.
