Punjab CM Meets Turkish President in Turkiye


Antalya: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Antalya, Turkiye today (Saturday). First Lady Emine Erdogan was also present on the occasion.



According to Radio Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warmly welcomed Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and expressed gratitude for her attendance at the Diplomacy Forum Conference. He inquired about the health of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, extending his best wishes.



During their conversation, President Erdogan mentioned his intention to meet with Nawaz Sharif soon. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz conveyed a message of goodwill from Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to the President of Turkiye, expressing gratitude for the invitation to visit.



In a separate meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also met with First Lady Emine Erdogan. The First Lady expressed appreciation for her visit, and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reciprocated the gesture, exchanging best wishes with Emine Erdogan.
