Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor has said Qatar has always played a pivotal role for the unity of Muslim Ummah.

He was talking to the Ambassador of Qatar Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, who called on him in Islamabad on Wednesday.

He said Qatar amazingly hosted the Federation International De Football Association (FIFA) World Cup and presented a beautiful introduction of Islam to the world.

Qatari Ambassador said Qatar is keen to cooperate with Pakistan on high-quality printed interpretations of the Holy Quran and books of Hadith.
