The Supreme Court has struck down some sections of the amendments in the National Accountability Ordinance 1999.

The reserved verdict was announced by a three-member bench comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah disagreed with the majority decision.
