Karachi: Security forces are continuing their operations against drug trafficking. A total of 1056.922 metric tons of drugs have been seized and 2135 drug dealers arrested during these operations which have been ongoing since September last year.

According to Radio Pakistan, The extensive operations have been launched as part of a comprehensive strategy to combat the rising threat of drug trafficking in the region. Security forces are employing multiple tactics to dismantle the networks involved in the illegal drug trade, targeting both small-scale dealers and high-profile traffickers.

The ongoing operations have not only led to significant seizures of narcotics but have also disrupted the supply chains that facilitate the trafficking. The authorities are focusing on intelligence-led operations, leveraging technological tools and cross-agency collaborations to enhance the effectiveness of their efforts.

These operations underscore the commitment of security forces to curbing the drug menace, which poses a
serious threat to public health and safety. The crackdown is expected to continue as forces aim to further weaken the infrastructure of drug trafficking networks.

Confidence of Int’l Institutions Increasing in Pakistan: Aurangzeb.

Karachi: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says the national economy has been steered on the right path with stabilization of rupee and increase in remittances. Addressing a ceremony in Karachi, he said that owing to steps taken by the government with regard to stabilizing the national economy, the confidence of international institutions in Pakistan has increased.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister highlighted that steps for ease of doing business are yielding positive results and obstacles in the way of doing business are being removed to facilitate the business community.
