Sindh govt to launch housing project for flood affected people with WB’s assistance

Sindh government has decided to launch housing project for the flood-affected people in the province at a cost of 110 billion rupees with assistance of the World Bank.

The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting between Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and the World Bank team in Karachi.

The World Bank Country Director Najy Benhassine attended the meeting through video link.

The Chief Minister informed that the government has already deputed teams to clear water from the flooded towns and villages, and the process is likely to be completed in one and half month.
