The federal government is making all out efforts for provision of health facilities at tehsil and district levels across the country.

This was stated by Caretaker Federal Minister for Health Nadeem Jan after inaugurating a community health center in Tangi area of Charsadda on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Nadeem Jan said Tangi healthcare unit will be turned into a state-of-the-art hospital to achieve the sustainable development goals of the UN.

He also announced the opening of a cardiac unit at the hospital.

He said the government has started a project of refurbishing five-hundred primary healthcare units across the country which will be completed by January next year.

The Health Minister said the government will also launch the project of solarization of four-hundred hospitals from next year.
