Tarar Lauds Overseas Pakistanis for Their Economic Contributions


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has acknowledged the contributions of overseas Pakistanis to the economic development and progress of the country.



According to Radio Pakistan, in a televised video message on Sunday, Tarar announced that an Overseas Pakistanis Convention is being held in Islamabad to honor expatriate Pakistanis for their achievements and contributions to the nation.



The Minister emphasized that the state of Pakistan recognizes and values the role of overseas Pakistanis. Referring to them as the pride of the nation, he highlighted that they send remittances worth billions of dollars every year.



Attaullah Tarar noted that overseas Pakistanis arriving from abroad are being warmly welcomed at the convention. He further stated that, under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, Pakistan’s economy has improved over the past year, expressing confidence that the country will continue to progress in the future.
