President Dr Arif Alvi says development of technology sector is the key to progress of any country.

He was addressing the concluding ceremony of a two day Global Digital Summit expo in Islamabad on Thursday.

The President said technology and artificial intelligence has benefited mankind in many ways, especially in the education, agriculture and health sectors. He said our country needs to accelerate its pace in this realm.

Dr Arif Alvi said this expo provided an excellent platform to explore technology sector and enhance our access to global markets.

Earlier, the President presented excellence awards to entrepreneurs who gave commendable performance in the technology sector.
