Peshawar: A special grand Jirga was held at Bala Hissar Fort in Peshawar with the message of peace. Tribal elders expressed their commitment to support the government and security forces in their efforts to eliminate Fitna-ul-Khawarij and bring peace to the Khyber District. They emphasized their resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the authorities to ensure stability in the region.
According to Radio Pakistan, the participants were informed about the ongoing efforts by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps North, and other law enforcement agencies to maintain peace in the Khyber district. It was highlighted that no individual or group will be permitted to disrupt the peace in the area. Authorities stressed the importance of raising public awareness to counteract the propaganda of Khawarij.
The tribal elders reiterated their commitment to collaborate with the Pakistan Army in fostering peace. They assured their support and cooperation in all initiatives aimed at securing the region and preventing any attem
pts to destabilize it. The Jirga underscored the collective responsibility of both the government and tribal leaders in safeguarding the interests of the Khyber District.
