‘Uraan Pakistan’ Program Aims to Propel Economic Growth, Says Planning Minister

NAROWAL: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has announced that the ‘Uraan Pakistan’ program is set to drive the nation toward development and prosperity. During a function held in Narowal, Iqbal highlighted the country’s progression towards economic stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal elaborated on the government’s five-year homegrown economic initiative, designed to achieve significant developmental goals. He expressed optimism that Pakistan is poised to begin a new journey of development after a prolonged period of challenges. The minister emphasized that ensuring policy stability and continuity is crucial for Pakistan to potentially become one of the fastest-developing economies globally.

Iqbal pointed out that the politics of hatred and violence remains a significant challenge to the nation’s progress. He urged for stability and continuity, asserting that sit-ins and protests should be avoided to ensure sustained development. Criticizing the previous regime under the PTI founder, Iqbal argued that the ‘Naya Pakistan’ slogan misled the population, leading to instability and economic derailment.

The minister’s remarks underline the government’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to economic growth and stability, as the country seeks to recover from past economic challenges and pave a path toward prosperity.
